Since its founding, Sound Products has been a model of responsible corporate citizenship. The company actively supports community organizations, encourages employee involvement in public service projects and directly sponsors important community betterment initiatives.
The firm's principal beneficiary this year is the Sumner Academy
of Arts & Sciences, a five-year college prep magnet school
in the Kansas City, KS School District. Sumner serves students
in grades 8-12 who come from diverse racial, cultural and socio-economic
backgrounds. Sound Products supports the Academy's music, theater
and audio acoustics study programs through challenge grants
and technical assistance.
Sound Products also gives back to the community through a wide
variety of volunteer and community service activities. It has
been an active leader in each of these organizations:

Sound Products supports numerous not-for-profit organizations including Children's Mercy Hospital, Ronald McDonald's House, Harvesters and the Parkinson's Association.
Sound Products associates receive active encouragement to volunteer
in organizations that improve the quality of life in greater
Kansas City, including local chambers, service clubs, scouting
organizations, church groups and school PTAs'.
