Sound Products was started in 1990 when a 3M dealership in Kansas City was secured by Robbin Reynolds and her father, an entrepreneur in the radio and cable industries. Robbin had worked for a Fortune 500 company and venture capital firm and was looking for an opportunity to put her handprint and values on a company of her own.

Initially, two products were offered - headsets for the fastfood industry and five channels of satellite music for businesses.

Today, Sound Products is the largest DMX Music franchisee in the country, serving over 1,500 customers regionally and nationally with more than 100 music formats. An extended product line includes audio and video environments, audio and video marketing programs, intercom communication systems and surveillance systems.

Headquartered in Kansas City, Sound Products provides installation and service throughout the country in partnership with a nationwide dealer network. All details of your installation are managed from start to finish including sound system design, equipment procurement, installation coordination and ongoing service. Sound Products is a member of the NSCA (National Systems Contractors Association) and adheres to the industries code of ethics.
